Delta state 2023 Governorship hopeful, Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi, following his emergence as candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) has received the blessings of Ijaw Father Figure, Chief E.K. Clark, in the race to claim power from the ruling PDP in the state.
Gbagi got Clark’s endorsement in his ongoing consultation with the SDP Chaiman Dr. Shehu Gabam and other top dignitaries of the great party who visited the elder statesman in his Abuja home on memorable June 12, now the nation’s Democracy Day.
Clark in a short but precise traditional kolanut prayers for Gbagi, asked that providence grants the Delta born industrialist his heart desire, the governorship which Gbagi had already intimated him on.
The development signals another huge boost to the political revolution in the making by Olorogun Gbagi and his teeming supporters to seize power from the PDP hegemony of stagnation and succession by sentiments and imposition of unfit officeholders in Delta state.
Confidence continues to grow in the believe on SDP with its flag bearer, Gbagi to redeem the pride of Delta by ending PDP misrule to usher in a new dawn of rapid transformation anchored on Gbagi, who as Governor come 2023 would bring his overwhelming wealth of experience and accomplishments in both private and public to bear in the governance of Delta state for the common good.
