CROSS RIVER 10TH HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY INAUGURATION: THE NEED FOR STRATEGIC ALLIANCE

I was gracefully opportunied to attend the 10 House of Assembly Inauguration; and I must say that it’s a thing of joy for me. My personal experience made me believe that truly, there is hope for Nigeria and Cross River State in particular.

First I will like to appreciate the masses that came out in mass to vote for the lawmakers they believed in despite the outcry against INEC for irregularities. Cross Riverians showed through their overwhelming support to APC that they believe in the future and the progress of Cross River State.

I want to specially congratulate the newly inaugurated Lawmakers and wish to charge them to be closer to the masses in other to always be in their heart. One of the many ways to be close to the people is to carry grass root politicians along in your consultation and initiatives to better the life’s of the people.

Secondly, the need to always hear the cry of the people is very paramount. If the people are neglected, it will be a base for the opposition to campaign against you their by making you a stranger to the people come next four years. To be close to the people, you need grass root politicians who will be at the grass root to represent your best interest and the interest of our great party.
