Archbishop Emmanuel Jatau, Presiding Bishop of FaithHill Prophetic Assembly has urged Nigerians explore and do all it takes to maximize their God-Given potentials for their own upliftment and for the benefit of the nation.
He stated this at the closing of the church’s 2024 National Convention held in Abuja on Saturday.
Our reporter reports that the weeklong event which started on Monday has it’s theme as “Releasing your God-Given potentials”.
Members from different branches of the church including Bwari, Aso, Lafia among others were all in attendance for the weeklong event.
According to Jatau, all humans are born with one potential or the other but it requires each person to carefully explore and find out the potential given to them by God so as to maximize the use of that potential to fulfil their destinies.
He said the reason why some Nigerians are struggling to strive and understand their purpose in life is because they failed to explore what potential lies in wait for them.
“Right from when I was six years old, that was when I discovered my potential. I started prophesying when I was six years old. So there is nobody born into this world that is not born with a potential.
“That is why we need to awaken the potentials of our fellow christians and by extension all Nigerians and not allow those potentials to go to the grave without being explored.
“This convention delved into how to explore and maximize one’s potential through God-Given scriptures,* he said.
He said the theme was apt and had delivered positive changes in the lives of members of the church with some testifying to immediate chang’s in their situations after receiving the cleric’s teachings on maximizing their God-Given potentials.
“All trees have their properties. The coconut tree produces coconut, that of mango produces mango. It’s similar to every human being.
“So when you come to this world, there is something God has sent you to come and do regardless of your age or tribe. So this is where we wake such gifts or potentials up.
“It’s not gainsaying that if you gather ten people and explained to them how to make use of their potentials, you will be surprised to see a positive change in those people.
Jatau added that the convention had also focused on the roles of church members and the importance of everyone playing their roles for the growth of the church.
He said church workers specifically were further educated on their roles so that when they return to their various beaches they can better serve the Lord in their various positions and deliver the church’s mission ambition to the public.
Bishop Justice Itomo, Presiding of the church’s branch in Bwari local area council praised the convention’s theme which he said has offered more spiritual guide, understanding and added more wisdom and strength in helping to building members lives.
“The theme chosen is so wonderful. There are many Nigerians who have great potentials but are just dormant and by the teaching we have received so far, I believe a lot of potentials have been awakened,” he said.
