Dear Deltans,

We hope this message finds you well. We are writing to provide clarity on the recent Palliative Distribution in Delta State, which is specifically intended for a particular group of citizens. The Palliative Distribution is a vital initiative by the Delta State Government to support and uplift our fellow Deltans who are most vulnerable and in need of assistance._*

Who the Palliative Distribution Is For:

1. Widows: The Palliative Distribution is dedicated to helping widows in our state who may be facing economic challenges due to the loss of their spouses.

2. People Living with Disabilities: Those among us who live with disabilities and require additional support to meet their daily needs are another group that this initiative aims to assist.

3. Orphans and Vulnerable Children: The program also extends its helping hand to orphans and vulnerable children who may lack proper care and resources.

Civil Servants and Reduced Transportation Costs:

It’s worth noting that the government of Delta State is also making efforts to ease the burden of transportation costs for our citizens. Civil servants now have a three-times-a-week work schedule to help reduce transportation expenses.

Furthermore, the introduction of the CNG Tricycle, commonly known as Keke NAPEP, is another commendable move by the Delta State Government. This initiative aims to provide affordable transportation options, making it easier for Deltans to move around.

Who the Palliative Is Not For:

It’s essential to be clear about the eligibility for the Palliative Distribution. If you do not fall into the categories of widows, people living with disabilities, or orphans and vulnerable children, the Palliative is not intended for you. We kindly ask that you respect the intended recipients and not expect any Palliative if you do not fall into these categories.

A Non-Partisan Initiative:

The Palliative Distribution is not limited to any political affiliation, particularly the People’s Democratic Party (PDP). It is a program designed to benefit Deltans who are vulnerable, regardless of their political beliefs or affiliations.

Expectations for Farmers and Poultry Farm Actors:

We are pleased to announce that the Delta State Government is also anticipating the receipt of maize from the federal government soon. This maize distribution will specifically address the needs of our hardworking farmers and poultry farm actors.

In conclusion, we urge everyone to embrace the spirit of unity and empathy that defines our beloved Delta State. Let us support and respect the intentions of the Palliative Distribution and other initiatives aimed at improving the lives of those who need it most.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Sincerely,

Comrade Victor Ojei popularly called Wong Box Senior Special Assistant to the Executive Governor of Delta State on Civil Societies and NGO’s. Feel free to text us via WhatsApp 08038785262
