Based on the recent communal crisis between two notable Ughievwen communities (Okwagbe and Otor-Owahwa) in Ughelli South LGA.
The Special Adviser to the Governor on Youth Development paid a visit to both communities to see first hand what had transpired.
In his discussion with youths and members of the community, he sued for a peaceful resolution to the issue on ground.
While noting that normalcy had returned to the environs due to the presence of the police and army, he pleaded with the indigenes not to be involved with the destruction of property and lives as it makes little sense to set themselves back based on any issues that will be resolved soon.
Lastly, he added that all involved should resist hard the urge to take laws into their own hands but instead allow the gears of justice to follow due process to a fair end as good citizens and indigenes of this great country.
The youths thanked him for his counsel and promised to follow suit.
