President Buhari on Sunday afternoon March 6, departed Nigeria for the UK for his routine medical checkup.
The president left the country on Sunday afternoon.

Last month, Femi Adesina, presidential spokesman, had said Buhari would visit his doctor in London for “routine medical checks that will last for a maximum of two weeks”.
Buhari was supposed to proceed to London from Kenya — where he had participated in the 50th anniversary of the United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP).
However, the president made an unexpected return to the country on Friday.
The president’s return took many by surprise, given the earlier spelt-out details of his itinerary.
But in spite of the development, ‘TheCable’ had reported that the medical trip was still on course.
He is expected back to the country in the next two weeks.
