Mr. Akinjide Bakare has commended the Lagos State Consumer Protection Agency (LASCOPA) for upholding its mandate of protecting consumer rights in Lagos State through its timely intervention on his behalf.
According to a statement by the Agency, shortly after receiving a complaint from Mr. Bakare over an unresolved dispute with a service provider. LASCOPA reviewed the submitted documents and engaged both parties. Through the Agency’s quick intervention, the matter was amicably resolved in line with consumer protection laws and best practices.
The successful resolution not only brought relief to the beneficiary, Akinjide Bakare, but also reaffirmed public confidence in LASCOPA’s complaint resolution process and its mandate to protect consumers from unfair trade practices and substandard services.
The beneficiary of the Agency’s prompt intervention expressed appreciation to the Lagos State Government and LASCOPA for their swift response, professionalism, and commitment to consumer welfare.
