Beauty Pageant 2024: Success Benjamin Wins Miss Oil City Nigeria in Delta

A female rights activist in Delta State, Comrade Success Benjamin has emerged winner of the Miss Oil City Nigeria Beauty Pageant 2024, organized by Mayor Kings Modelling Agency in Warri.

 

Miss Success clinched the first position out of 28 contestants to emerge Miss Oil City, Nigeria, recently. The competition had voters across the globe, and sponsorship of the pageant was opened to various companies, and business organizations within and outside the country.

Queen Precious Eyong- emerged second and was crowned as Miss Oil City Heritage. Queen Blessing Elume took the third position and was crowned as Miss Oil City Ambassador with Cash Prizes.

 

FocalPoint Reports gathered that Lightworld & Industries, B.M. Ofesi Foundation, Gimbrown Marine Security Oil & Gas Ltd, and some other prominent organizations have always stood out as proud sponsors of the event as the visionary Organiser, Amb. Temisan Louis, the special assistant to the immediate past governors of Delta State on Community Development, continues to create platforms for youths to achieve their potential.

 

Receiving her prize, Success thanked the chief executive officer of Mayor Kings Agency, Amb. Louis Temisan alias Mayor of Africa for organizing the pageant aimed at giving young persons the platform needed to become brand ambassadors and also to create programs for public enlightenment.

 

 

According to Success, “I am happy and thankful to the organizers and sponsors of Miss Oil City Nigeria, I intend to use my crown to advocate and bring back a clean environment that is free from pollution and Environmental degradation. I also seek to use this office to champion agricultural empowerment as an alternative to dependence on crude oil and gas to empower women and youths of the Niger Delta,” she said.

 

 

The chief organizer of the program earlier had disclosed to FocalPoint Reports that; “Miss Oil City Nigeria offers the winner an Opportunity of becoming the face that will champion advocacy against Oil Spillages across the Nation.

 

 

He noted that Other Contestants couldn’t meet the voter’s requirements and most of the expected sponsors did not show up, perhaps the current economic challenges facing the Nation May also be the cause, he said.

 

 

He called on relevant stakeholders particularly Government agencies to look into supporting Human capital Developmental Programs such as this contest with Funding to enable organizers to Continue with their Good works of Creating Empowerment opportunities for the Girl Children in the region.

 

He noted that government agencies contacted for the program did not support the program with any things, not even their presence, “I submitted Support requests to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism Delta state, Ministry of Oil and Gas, Ministry of Youths Development, and Ministry of Humanitarian and Girl Child Empowerment but didn’t get a response from any of them before the event, however, the event was successful”.
