Wizkid, the Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, has come through with ‘Bad To Me’, his highly anticipated song.
After weeks of teasing, the 32-year-old megastar released the track across various streaming platforms in the early hours of Wednesday.
The song is the singer’s first single in two years — after the release of ‘Made In Lagos’, his fourth studio album.
“Lose my way/ This kind, this kind love/ Wey dey make me want more/ Come my way/ This kind, this kind love, yeah/ I dey want for the night/ Make I know how you feel/ how you want,” he sings.
With several hit projects and awards, Wizkid has established himself as a household name in the global music industry.
The singer’s career has spanned over a decade with four studio albums to his credit.
‘Made In Lagos’, his fourth studio album, recently got two nominations at the 2022 edition of the Grammy Awards.
‘Essence,’ a song of the 2020 album, has been breaking records internationally. In October 2021, the single hit a new peak of No. 10 on the Billboard Hot 100.
The ‘Reckless’ crooner recently bagged five awards out of ten nominations at the 2022 Headies.
