Mason Greenwood has reportedly told his friends he will never play for Manchester United again.
The estranged 21-year-old has already seen his alleged rape and assault charges dropped in February.
However, Greenwood continues to be under internal investigation by the Manchester giants, hence delaying his return to the pitch.
Greenwood, who was initially arrested in January 2022, was expected to join Erik ten Hag’s squad after the charges were dropped by the Crown Prosecution Service ea
But his return to first-team training has been put on hold while the club continues to look into the incident to determine his future at the Theatre of Dreams.
According to a source close to the forward, ‘Mason believes he’s finished at United.
‘He’s sat at home kicking his heels and very frustrated.

‘He wants to get back playing football but realises his situation is very complicated and it’s his own doing.
‘He is determined to play football again but doesn’t think he’ll ever pull on a United shirt ever again.’ a source told The Sun exclusively.
Greenwood was arrested last year after he was of physical and sexual abuse on social media, relating to a period between November 2018 and October 2021.
The England youngster was suspended by Man United, while Nike severed ties with him without compensation, he was also removed as a playable character in EA Sports FIFA 22 game.
