Wizkid and Asake’s collaborative EP REAL, Vol. 1 is enjoying a strong run across major streaming platforms, underlining its wide acceptance among listeners in Nigeria and beyond.
The project, which features tracks such as Turbulence, Jogodo, Alaye, and Iskolodo, pulled in 3.51 million global Spotify streams on its third day of release, pushing its total tally to over 25.94 million streams.
Breakout single Jogodo has been particularly dominant, holding the No. 1 spot on Nigeria’s Spotify Daily Top Songs chart for 10 consecutive days. On January 24 alone, the track recorded 986,679 streams.
During the same period, songs from REAL, Vol. 1 occupied the top four positions on the Nigerian Spotify chart, reflecting the EP’s heavy rotation.
Internationally, the project has continued to gain momentum, appearing on Apple Music’s Top 100 and climbing Spotify’s global charts.
Rapper Olamide publicly celebrated the achievement, while promotional visuals for the EP have further boosted its visibility and online buzz.
