The UK Recognizes Security Improvements in Kaduna State, Eases Travel Advisories for Its Citizens Visiting the Area.

The UK Government’s Travel Advisory has moved Kaduna State from “Red” to “Amber,” allowing British citizens to travel freely to the State. This was disclosed by the Development Director of the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), Ms. Cynthia Rowe, during the signing of the new Mutual Accountability Framework (KaMAF) with Governor Uba Sani on behalf of the Kaduna State Government.

She explained that Kaduna State had been on “Red” since 2022 but was now reclassified to “Amber” due to Governor Uba Sani’s persistent efforts in addressing security challenges.

The Governor said the UK Government’s acknowledgement of these sustained efforts is a strong testament to the impact of his government’s peace and security initiatives and a clear signal to investors that Kaduna State is safe for business.
