As Building a Safe and Sound Financial System – CBN Fair Engages a Spectrum of Stakeholders in Kaduna

On September 18, 2025, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) hosted its Fair in Kaduna under the theme “Driving Alternative Payment Channels as Tools for Financial Inclusion, Growth and Accelerated Economic Development.” The Fair convened NYSC corps members, youth-led organisations, market women associations, security agencies, FinTech operators, and other stakeholders to promote financial literacy, provide a platform where presentations and dialogue centred on how the Bank’s policies are shaping a safer and more inclusive financial system.

In her remarks, Mrs. Hakama Sidi Ali, Acting Director, Corporate Communications Department, reiterated the Bank’s commitment to maintaining a safe and secure financial system through key initiatives such as the Nigeria Payments System Vision 2028 (PSV 2028) and the Unified Complaints Tracking System (UCTS). She further encouraged participants to adopt innovative channels, safeguard the Naira, and leverage digital platforms for inclusive growth.
