The 20 women leaders of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), in the 20 wards in Aguata Local Government Area paid a Solidarity visit to Mrs Nonye Soludo, wife of Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo, APGA gubernatorial candidate in the November 6 Anambra governorship election on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at her country home, Isuofia, Aguata LGA.

The women leaders were led by Hon. Ezeilo Florence and her Deputy, Lady Ngozi Dike in their Solidarity visit to Mrs Soludo to declare support for her husband’s gubernatorial bid.

Hon. Ezeilo Florence told Mrs Soludo that the women leaders representing each of the 20 wards in Aguata came to declare their unalloyed support for Cee Cee Soludo. Hon. Ezeilo stated that the women have already begun massive mobilisation and sensitization of the people at the grassroot in Aguata towards winning the 20 wards in the local government for Cee Cee Soludo come November 6, 2021.

She expressed confidence that the women have the capacity and the reach in mobilizing the grassroot people to vote massively for Soludo at the forthcoming governorship election in the State.

Responding, Mrs Soludo thanked them for their visit and the unflinching support for her husband. She assured them that Cee Cee Soludo in his manifesto has put in place adequate plans of what he will do to empower the women and reduce poverty significantly among the downtrodden.

Cee Cee Soludo later joined the meeting and he also assured the women of his plans of improving their well-being through empowerment programmes that will impact positively on their lives

He equally thanked the women for their support and enjoined them to work hard towards delivering their various wards and polling booths for APGA and the Soludo/Ibezim ticket come November 6, 2021.
