The Rt. Hon Ben Nwankwo, (Isingidi Akpu N’ Orumba), three times Federal House of Representatives Member, Representing Orumba North and South Federal Constituency, has asserted that the All Progressives Congress (APC), is not yet ready for the Anambra governorship election but merely on membership drive, as the party has no support base in the State.

The respected former federal lawmaker whose oratory skills and effective command of the English language is always a delight to watch, described APC as a groping party that is desperately looking for membership.

He stated categorically that the party has no members in Anambra State and is therefore in full desperation to poach “dead wood” and “expired” politicians who have no electoral value in the state into their fold with money

Hon. Nwankwo spoke during his appearance on the campaign train of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, (APGA), in Orumba South. His appearance on the podium drew thunderous applause from the thousands of Supporters who listened to his engaging and mesmerising speech that got them yelling for more.

“APC is not yet on election mode because they are not prepared. They are not on ground either but merely wandering around for membership drive,” Hon. Nwankwo reaffirmed.

He told the supporters not to lose sleep with the antics of APC, adding that they will collapse like a pack of cards because they are not on ground in the state and therefore cannot win any election, let alone the governorship election.

He further said APC campaign mantra of taking Anambra to the center is based on deceit and laced with fallacies. He said emphatically that the only candidate that can connect Anambra to the centre is Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo, who is already at the center as a prominent member of President Muhammadu Buhari’s economic advisory team.

Hon Nwankwo also commended Governor Willie Obiano’s transformational leadership in Anambra State in delivering the dividends of democracy to the people. He added that the Governor has typified ‘humility in an excellent dimension’ which is deserving of commendation.

He further commended Obiano for putting forward Cee Cee Soludo as the party gubernatorial candidate, adding that one of the responsibilities of a good leader is produce another good leader.

Hon Nwankwo also commended Soludo’s manifesto as an ‘economic blueprint’ that will further take the state to another glorious and greater level.

He therefore called on the people to put behind them the antics of the opposition and come out massively to vote for APGA and Soludo/Ibezim come November 6, 2021.
