Chika Okeke-Agulu, Anambra born leading academic in the United States, of Princeton University, who just assumed duties as distinguished Professor at Oxford University; one of the oldest and prestigious educational institutions in the world, established in 1096 has again placed Anambra State and indeed Nigeria on the global academic reckoning

Professor Okeke-Agulu hails from Umuoji in Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State.

The hardwork, diligence and perseverance leading to this global elevation underscores the present administration of Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo’s positive disposition to human resources development, projection of the ndi Anambra spirit of hardwork, professionalism and excellence anywhere in the global space

Professor Okeke-Agulu’s assumption of duties at the most respected university in the world is therefore an honour well deserved to himself, the African Continent, Nigeria and Anambra State in particular. And the government and people of Anambra are proud of this honour
