Nigerian makeup artist Anita Natacha Akide, popularly known on Instagram as Symply_Tacha, has celebrated 10 years in the beauty industry.
Reflecting on the milestone, Tacha described her journey as one built on dedication, consistency, and passion for her craft, noting that her focus has always been on growth and impact rather than quick recognition.
What began as a personal interest in makeup has evolved into a professional career that has gained recognition within and beyond Nigeriaโs beauty space.
The celebration of her decade long career received support from the Lagos State Government through the Office of the Senior Special Assistant on Tourism, Arts and Culture, Idris Aregbe, alongside the Connect Lagos initiative.
Tacha also dedicated the milestone to her late mother, Stella, who passed away 12 years ago, describing her as a strong influence in shaping both her life and career.
She said makeup remains her first love and expressed optimism about achieving even greater milestones in the years ahead.
