Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company (SNEPCo) Ltd says the Bonga floating production, storage, and offloading (FPSO) has been shut down for scheduled turnaround maintenance in February.
The shutdown could impact Nigeria’s oil production as the facility is designed with an output capacity of 225,000 barrels per day (bpd) and 150 million standard cubic feet (scf) of gas per day.
