The National Sports Commission has engaged with David Umahi Federal University of Health Sciences to strengthen collaboration in sports medicine, research, anti-doping education, and capacity development in sports administration.
The development followed a strategic meeting between the NSC Chairman, Shehu Dikko, and the university’s Vice-Chancellor, Sam Ibeneme.
Both parties are expected to continue discussions towards the signing of a formal Memorandum of Understanding aimed at advancing sports development and healthcare research in Nigeria.
