The Nigeria Police Force National Cybercrime Centre has apprehended key actors behind a fake National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) website, following a petition submitted to the Inspector-General of Police by the Director-General of the Commission.
The suspects were accused of unauthorized access, distribution, and commercialization of Nigerians’ personally identifiable information.
