NAFDAC has noted a false publication alleging that enforcement of the ban on sachet alcohol and alcoholic drinks in PET bottles below 200ml has been suspended.

This claim is misleading and untrue. The ban remains fully in force, and enforcement activities are ongoing in line with the Agency’s statutory mandate to protect public health, especially vulnerable populations.
