Governor Sheriff Oborevwori hhas currently urged closer partnership between the executive and legislative arms to reposition Nigeria’s automotive industry for global competitiveness.

Declaring open the retreat of the House Committee on Industry and the National Automobile Design and Development Council (NADDC) in Asaba, the Governor, represented by his Chief of Staff Hon. Johnson Erijo, said the retreat aligns with his MORE Agenda to accelerate industrialisation.

He pledged that Delta State will support manufacturing and job creation through investor friendly reforms, infrastructure renewal, decentralized power initiatives and ease of doing business measures.

Highlighting Delta’s natural resources, coastal location and four seaports, the Governor said the state offers strong logistical advantages for manufacturing and exports and will give retreat recommendations due consideration.
