At the 2025 Delta Councillors Forum Symposium in Asaba, he highlighted councillors as the bridge between government and the people, stressing security, poverty, welfare, environmental management, and constituency projects.

He called the Supreme Court ruling on local government autonomy a landmark for democracy and urged councils to uphold civility, transparency, and the dignity of councilorship.
