The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Defence, Mr. Richard Pheelangwah, paid a familiarisation visit to Equipment and Protective Applications International Limited (EPRIL) in Ogun State on Wednesday, 28 January 2026, to assess the company’s operational capacity, production capabilities, and readiness to support Nigeria’s defence and security architecture.
During the visit, Mr. Pheelangwah inspected EPRIL’s facilities and engaged its management on strategic collaboration in defence equipment manufacturing and protective solutions, reaffirming the Federal Government’s commitment to promoting local content, self-reliance, public-private partnerships, and reduced dependence on imports to strengthen national security and drive economic growth.
