The Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, has reaffirmed the Federal Government’s commitment to reducing road accidents across the country through enhanced collaboration with the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC).
Through his official X handle, Tunji-Ojo disclosed that he received the Corps Marshal of the FRSC, Shehu Mohammed, and his management team during a courtesy visit to his office.

He said discussions at the meeting focused on addressing incessant road accidents in Nigeria, with both sides exploring stronger partnerships to improve road safety.
“Because the FRSC plays a pivotal role in the country, especially in ensuring the safety of lives and property on our roads, I emphasized the importance of fostering stronger partnerships and tackling road safety challenges head-on,” the minister wrote.
Tunji-Ojo added that the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) will continue to drive Nigeria towards a safer and more prosperous future.
