Dangote Industries Limited has signed a landmark $1 billion investment agreement with the Government of Zimbabwe, marking a major step in the company’s pan-African expansion.

 

The signing ceremony in Harare brought together key figures, including Dangote Industries CEO Aliko Dangote, Zimbabwe’s Minister of Finance and Investment Promotion Mthuli Ncube, and Dangote Industries’ Vice President of Oil and Gas Devakumar Edwin. Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa was also present to witness the agreement.

The deal is expected to significantly boost Zimbabwe’s economic development agenda and strengthen the partnership between Nigeria and Zimbabwe in promoting industrial growth and regional investment.
