Africa Gaming Expo 2024: Gov. Sanwo-Olu Announces Re-calibration of Agenda for Tourism…details

Governor Sanwo-Olu has today, announced at the re-calibration of our agenda for tourism at Africa Gaming Expo Lagos 2024 through the development of a Tourism Master Plan and Tourism Policy for economic regeneration.

This he state as part of our administration’s commitment to leverage the potential of the gaming, entertainment, and tourism sectors in line with the THEMES+ economic agenda.

In his remarks he said, “I emphasised our efforts to increase our share of the African gaming market and solidify our position in the industry through Public-Private Partnerships. Lagos State is known for its commercial and entertainment grandeur and we aim to capitalize on the nexus between entertainment, gaming, and tourism for economic growth.

“It is important that there is collaboration among stakeholders to explore new ideas and strategies to realize the full socio-economic potential of the gaming, entertainment, and tourism industry in Africa.”
