President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has today given his full support to the country’s first floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) project to be developed by indigenous company, UTM Offshore.
This was disclosed On Wednesday, July 5, 2023, during his reception of a joint delegation of the UTM Offshore team, Technip Energies and JGC Corporation as well as the French and Japanese ambassadors to the country.
Tinubu endorsed the $1.8 million project.
The UTM Offshore Group Managing Director, Julius Rone, while addressing the state house press after meeting with the president said that President Tinubu’s support of the project will produce 300,000 tons of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) annually and create 7,000 direct jobs to the youths of Nigeria
