The executive Governor of River State, Siminalayi Fubara has on Monday flagged off as refered, one of its most prized signature projects, the Trans-Kalabari road.

in his remarks he said, “we were honoured by the presence of the former President of our nation, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, GCFR, as he flagged off one of our most prized signature projects, the Trans-Kalabari road.

“It was a rewarding event as our esteemed leader performed the flag-off ceremony and used the occasion to call for peace, urging our people to remain resolute in their support for our government to succeed in delivering quality leadership and the dividends of democracy.

“In our modest effort to give hope to our people, we are committed to ensuring infrastructural development, economic growth and social integration through such turnkey projects that will link them to the mainland from their riverine and coastal communities.
