Lagos State Head of Service, Mr. Bode Agoro on Friday, accompanied by the Body of Permanent Secretaries, visited the family of the late Mr. Gboyega Soyannwo to commiserate with them on the death of the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor of Lagos State at their Ikoyi residence.
In a condolence message read on behalf of the entire Body of Permanent Secretaries and workforce of Lagos State, the HOS described Soyannwo as a diligent, hardworking and cheerful giver during his lifetime.
He stated that he was an unassuming gentleman, whose selfless service to the present Administration was continually showcased, as he tirelessly contributed his quota to the achievement of a #Greater Lagos Rising.
In his words, “As a Deputy Chief of Staff and a very important member of the State Executive Council, Mr. Gboyega Soyannwo contributed significantly to the development of Lagos State through his intellectual ideas, dedication, unalloyed loyalty and commitment to the course of achieving the developmental agenda of the State Government”.
Agoro, therefore, prayed that the Almighty God grants the entire family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss and that the Peace of Almighty God shall continue to abide with them.
