Oyo State Govt has pleaded with the residents of the explosion Site to remain calm as research is ongoing.
The Government assures that they are aware of reports of an explosion in Ibadan but still urge residents to remain calm while security agencies are investigating this to determine the source and cause of the incident
It was confirmed that the relevant agencies are already carrying out search and rescue operations at the scene of the incident. Residents of the State are urged to remain calm as the Oyo State Government is on top of the situation.
Even though there is possibility from the report findings that explosive installed in the mining zone caused the explosion but government of Oyo State is doing everything to resolve the issue.
