The executive Governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahman CON has decided to reposition the education sector in Kwara State and that gave birth to his investment in the education, known as the KwaraLEARN, construction of digital literacy, hiring, training and retraining of teachers, and rehabilitation of schools, has enabled Kwara students to compete favorably using latest information and communication technology.
The Governor AbdulRazaq continues to make conscious efforts to reposition basic education in the state, which began with the payment of billions of diverted funds by the previous administration which brought Kwara State under the hammer of the UBEC.
The administration has restored the hope of parents in public schools as Kwara students will be representing Nigeria at the World School Debate Championship in the Republic of Serbia (Europe) this year after winning the 63rd edition of the Presidential Debate in Abuja for the second time in a row.
Kwara had also won the last edition of the speaking contest in 2021 in Lagos. The victory saw the state representing Nigeria at the International Debate Competition in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, among other feats.
