The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) was part of the recently concluded 43rd Islamic Financial Services Board (IFSB) Council meeting held on December 28 and 29, 2023, in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
On the sidelines of the IFSB meeting, CBN Governor, Mr. Olayemi Cardoso, was hosted by H.E. Ayman Al-Sayari, the Governor of Saudi Central Bank (SAMA), for discussions on banking supervision, financial stability and to explore areas for future collaborations.
Central Bank of Nigeria Governor was also hosted by H.E. Tahir Salim Abdullah Al Amri, the Governor of the Central Bank of Oman.
