Recent reports has shown that a famous Hausa actor, Usman Baba Fategi, popularly known as Samanja has died.

According to sources, Samanja died in early hours of Sunday November 12, 2023, at garden city hospital in Kaduna after prolonged illness.

Though, his family was yet to officially speak on his death, Blueprint gathered that his funeral will take place later on Sunday at Jaafaru estate Juma’at mosque, Kabala costain, Kaduna.

He aged of 81 and survived by two wives and 14 children.

Samanja was a retired Nigerian soldier and worked with the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, Kaduna broadcasting station.
