Dame Okwuofu, who was regarded as the Mother of Government (MOG) of the immediate past administration led by Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa has thrown in the towel as the Chairman, Delta State Civil Service Commission, Dame Patience Okwuofu.
This was disclosed in a statement by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Kingsley Emu.
It was gathered that her resignation was voluntary even though her reason for the voluntary resignation is yet to be disclosed.
According to the statement, the State governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, accepted her voluntary resignation with immediate effect while commending her for the meritorious service to the State.
Gov. Oborevwori went further to thank her for her contribution towards the growth of the civil service in the State which has brought about series of reforms that have positively transformed the State civil service while, Oborevwori, appointing another Special Adviser, Mr. Anthony Ofoni.
