Oghenesivbe’s commendation was contained in his goodwill message to Alegeh, SAN, over the well deserved national honour of Commander of the Order of the Niger, CON, bestowed on him by the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.

He noted that as a Senior Clerk in the law firm of Sadoh & Co between 1985 and 1988, he had the priviledge of serving learned silk Alegeh who was then a new wig, and that his knowledge of the law, high sense of humour and commitment to law practice encouraged him (Oghenesivbe) to join the legal profession later in life.

Oghenesivbe said through dink of hard work, learned silk Alegeh rose to become one of the most sort after legal practitioners in Nigeria, describing him as a disciplined, honest and reliable member of the inner Bar who continue to maintain high professional ethics, and has helped new wigs to excel in practice.

“I Congratulate my learned silk and respected senior at the Bar, legal icon, mentor and past President of the Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, Augustine Alegeh, SAN, as he joined the league of national Honours, Commander of the Order of the Niger, CON, in Nigeria.

“Your excellent track record in legal practice spanning over three decades, service to humanity and country shall always be remembered and rewarded. The national honour of CON, is just one of them, and more to come.

“I shall consistently draw from your overflying sound knowledge of the Law and continue to seat under your tutelage. You are indeed a rare gem, a visionary and consummate leader in the legal profession in Nigeria.

“I pray God Almighty to reward you consistently for your generous disposition, grant you good health, long life and more landmarks in life and service to country,” Oghenesivbe said.
