President Bola Tinubu has presently approved the appointment of Retired Assistant Inspector General of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, as the substantive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
This was gathered from an impeccable presidency sources, that the appointment of Odumosu, a former Lagos State Commissioner of Police will be properly announced as time goes on.
The appointment was made possible before his departure to France and is subject to confirmation by the Senate.
