Followimg the range of corruption emanating from the past administration-led by Muhammadu Buhari, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has summoned three ministers of the outgoing ministers for questioning, according to a reliable source close to the anti-graft agency.
The source, who spoke with News Express some days back, Monday, June 12, 2023, identified the former ministers as those of Justice, Abubakar Malami, SAN; Aviation, Hadi Sirika; and Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Umar Farouq.
It was gathered that, “The three ministers are expected to report at the EFCC Head Office in Abuja anytime from tomorrow, June 13, to answer questions in connections with the allegations contained in petitions against them,” the usually reliable source disclosed.
Recalling several calls have been made to the anti-graft agency to investigate the Sirika following the revelation around Nigeria Air project.
