Today, the Federal Republic of Nigeria celebrates it’s Democracy Day. The history of our dear nation has developed to a reasonable degree even though alot still needs to be done.

Nevertheless, we must continue to celebrate our democracy, for it has given us all the opportunity to agree and disagree. Opportunity to support our best candidates all for the growth and wellbeing of our dear nation.

I want to specially wish Cross Riverians a Happy Democracy Day and I wish to caution Cross Riverians to rally round Sen Prince Otu to make Cross River State a beautiful and glorified state. We must return to our position as the people’s paradise.

Election is over; I wish to also call on the opposition parties to sheath their swords and embrace peace. For where their is peace, their is development. Let us understand that the people have spoken through the ballot box and it is best we respect the wishes of the people.
