I wish to specially dedicate this Democracy day to Dr Betta Edu; a quintessential personality whose aura of pragmatic leadership united the Nigerian Women for Tiunbu.
Sen Bola Ahmed Tiunbu’s journey to Aso Rock is not complete without the mention of Dr Betta Edu. She was among those that worked tirelessly, day and night to ensure that Sen Tiunbu’s mandates was delivered.
Dr Betta Edu is a medical doctor by profession. An intellectual icon that believes in the progress of this great nation. While some of her colleagues in the medical fields are fleeing the country to foreign countries, she chose to remain in Nigeria and fight for a better country.
He personality and sacrificial aura can be felt by all those who know her from afar and around her. I strongly believe that if given an opportunity as the Minister of Health, She will restructure the Nigerian Health Care System and bring an end to medical tourism.
