The American-born and naturalized Swiss singer, dancer, actress and author, Tina Turner, reportedly died at the age of 83 in her home.
In a statement disclosed by her family confirmed her demise saying, the “Queen of Rock & Roll” died “peacefully” at home and added, “With her, the world loses a music legend and a role model.”
Also the statement also reveals that a private funeral ceremony will be held for close friends and family.
It was noted that Tina Turner was also a prolific writer, and became famous in the late 1960s as the singer of the band Ike & Turner Revue but later went solo as an artist.
She also bagged the Grammy-winning music icon with a hit songs like “What’s Love Got to Do With It,” “Private Dancer,” “The Best,” and “Better Be Good to Me and sold more than 180 million albums and won 12 Grammy Awards during her lifetime.
Recalling that Tina Turner shared her sorrow with fans after the tragic loss of her beloved son Ronnie in 2022.
