Following the outcome of the 2023 presidential election, the Edo state chapter of All Progressives Congress(APC) has been geared into another phase of crisis as the stakeholders mobilises against party’s chairman in the Owan East Local Government Area of Edo North Senatorial district .
Under the aegis of critical stakeholders, the group alleges that the DG of Tinubu/Shettima and Oshiomhole Campaign in the senatorial district, Abdulganiyu Lawani misappropriated the campaign funds.
Also accusing Ganiyu for infraction of the campaign fund in a petition purported and endorsed by Abdullahi Isah, though he denied been in the know how.
However, the APC stakeholders has alleged a total of 9 allegations against Lawani, demanding a proper immediate investigation be launched on the embattled chairman and his removal if found guilty even as he should be compelled to make a refund of all funds as well.
