The Edo State governor, Godwin Obaseki has approved the payment of 13th month salary to the state’s civil and public servants effective December 2023.

This approval he gave on approval on Monday during an engagement with Edo State civil and public servants at the Victor Uwaifo Creative Hub in Benin City.

The governor however said he was on a thank you mission after a successful Edo House of Assembly election, emphasized that the 13th month salary payment approval comes with a deal, which is: “I do for you, you do for Edo.”

The deal which implies that the civil and public servants of Edo State must increase their productive inorder to deliver efficient and quality services as the engine of the state’s economy.
