The Nigerian footballer, Mike Onyemachara, a member of the silver medal winning among the Flying Eagles team to Saudi Arabia in 1989 and the Super Eagles has been confirmed dead on Thursday, 4 May, 2023.
It was gathered that the footballer died in his 3 bedroom apartment in Ajegunle though the circumstances surrounding his death were still sketchy as at press time
It was noted that, Onyemachara is a highly skillful defender, played most of his club football with First Bank of Lagos and also an influential member of the Saudi 89 Flying Eagles.
Onyemachara survived by his wife and children.
