The Edo State Governor has sent a heartfelt condolence to the family of Captain Hosa Okunbo for the demise of the family matriarch, Mrs. Helen Osazewinde Okunbo.
The governor paid a condolence visit to the family of the deceased at his residence while encouraging the family to be thankful for a life well spent.
In His own words he expressed, “We are here to pay condolence to the children and family if Mrs. Helen Okunbo, mother of Captain Hosa Okunbo who passed on at the age of 85.
“We thank God for his life, she was ever so pleasant, so warm, so motherly and we thank God she lived to ripe old age. She left many successful children behind. She did everything she had to do in her lifetime.”
“We should celebrate her and celebrate her value – what she stood for and what she represented and not be sad she passed on.
He concluded, “I am glad that as expected decisions has been made on her burial and we will be here to support and be with you throughout the event.
