Following the report from the Ogun state election polls, INEC has declared the incumbent governor of Ogun state, Dapo Abiodun as the winner of the governorship election held on Saturday 18th March, 2023.
This was announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) returning officer in the state Professor Adebowale, the Vice Chancellor of University of Ibadan.
According to the result, Abiodun defeated his contenders with APC having 276,298 while PDP scored 262,383 after a long battle.
In 20 Local Government Area of the state, Abiodun scores 276,298 votes to bench Adebutu with a close margin to victory of 262,383 while Otegbeye managed to grab 94,754 votes.
