This metropolitan city, Lagos experience a sad incident of train crushing a transportation meant to be a Lagos state government staff bus with a registration number: 04A-48LA which took a part on the road meant to be for the train rail and was crushed by a moving train on Wednesday morning at PWD, Ikeja area of Lagos state and that brings us back to the recklessness of the drivers in Lagos both in private and public sectors which need to be addressed by serious training of drivers to earn patience as the key to life as I was once a victim of BRT climbing my car over the years without remorse after a long process.
According to the Director, Public Affairs and Enlightenment Department of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, Adebayo Taofiq, confirmed the accident in a statement.
Hear him, “The accident recorded many casualties as the staff bus was fully loaded with govt staff going to the office this morning,” the statement added.
But I suggest all government drivers are subjected to trainings on patience in driving especially in Lagos inorder to avert such tragedy, my opinion.
