SOLUDO FLAGS-OFF 9.4KM EZIRA-UMUOMAKU ROAD CONSTRUCTION, DESCRIBES IT AS A MAJOR GAME CHANGER

Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo has flagged-off construction of the 9.4 kilometers Ezira-Umuomaku road.

The road construction is being handled by Tamad Construction LTD.

 

Performing the function, Governor Soludo described the road as a major game changer, when completed.

 

The Governor noted that the road will open up economic opportunities in the area. He praised the contractor for a good job but advised that the construction work be sped up beyond its current fifteen percent completion rate.

The Governor also made a brief stop-over at APGA Campaign rally for candidates in Orumba South Council Area where he joined them to campaign for the party

 

The Governor explained that he needs the APGA candidates to win so that he can get a team to join him in the rapid development of the area and the State

 

He expressed confidence that the people would vote for APGA candidates adding that Anambra is APGA territory and APGA has never lost in Orumba South. He therefore expressed optimsm that the party will equally not lose during his tenure.

 

He also called on the people to take ownership and protect government projects in their localities.

 

Earlier, the Transition Committee Chairman for Orumba South Council Area, Prince Neville Uchendu, thanked the Governor and the entire solution team for the road projects.

 

APGA Candidate, Orumba South Constituency, Anambra House of Assembly, Hon. Emma Nwafor Ntu Japan, APGA Candidate, Orumba North and South Federal Constituency, Sir Eric Kanayo Eze, APGA Candidate, Anambra South Federal Constituency, Chris Azubogu accompanied the Governor and also canvassed for votes.

 

Former Deputy Governor of Anambra State, Mr. Emeka Sibeudu, Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Solo Chukwulobelu, Chief of Staff, Mr. Ernest Ezeajughi, Chief Protocol officer, Hon Chinedu Nwoye, Commissioner for Agriculture, Dr. Foster Ihejiofor, Traditional Rulers, among others were also present at the event.
