It was gathered that hoodlums on Friday temporarily seized Mile 3, Mile 2 Diobu Ikwere Road Port Harcourt, Rivers State in protest on the scarcity of money caused by the ongoing epileptic implementation of the Naira swap policy.
Following the activities this early morning in the affected areas in which the angry youths chased people as well as robbing them even as they burn tyres.
And the protest reportedly spread to Emenike Street, Okija forcing drivers to abandon their vehicles on the road and run for safety though the saving grace was the immediate response from the police deployed patrol teams to the areas that return normalcy to the situation.
