Amidst the protest, the Edo State Governor, His Excellency, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, has directed that with effect from from Thursday, February 16, 2023, all Edo City Transport Service (ECTS) buses are to provide free services to passengers to all routes till Monday, 20th February, 2023 as a means of easing the effects of the cash crunch on the people.
The government also beckon on the people to remain calm and law-abiding while assuring that normalcy will be restored sooner than expected.
